The Mobile Broadband Network Research Group (MBNRG) at Iran University of Science and Technology designs and analyzes the signal processing, resource allocation and security techniques behind 5G, 6G, cell-free massive MIMO and RIS-assisted networks.

About MBNRG

Advancing broadband mobile networks, one layer at a time

MBNRG is dedicated to research and graduate teaching in wireless and cellular mobile communication systems, with a focus on the signal-processing and networking foundations of broadband mobile systems — from massive MIMO and reconfigurable intelligent surfaces to UAV-aided and integrated sensing & communication networks. The group has produced more than 200 publications in leading IEEE and Elsevier journals and conferences, and has graduated more than 50 PhD and MSc students since its founding.
